Hello
I wanted to know if anyone has tried either/both Vonage and Shaw and gone with either one. I live in Calgary and contemplating choosing between the two. I have Shaw high speed. Thanks for your help!

I have Shaw as my ISP and Vonage for my phone and everything works. Several friends have Shaw for both ISP and phone and it seems to work similarly. The only difference is that I pay less. |

Hi there,
Well, I'm searching for a good company as well. I have a friend who suggested to me to check on other companies besides Shaw or Vonage. I'm just looking for local numbers subscription because I will be staying for atleast a month in Virgina. What can you suggest? |

I have Vonage & Shaw in Edmonton, we have Shaw High-Speed Extreme & it works flawlessly. Last year we spend some time at my mother-in laws, she has Shaw High-Speed Lite & we had no issues with it either (even though its not recommended, but we used it for our 'home office' #'s so basically during the day when all of the kids we at school & not home 'surfing')). I have a # of colleagues in Calgary using Vonage & Shaw with no issues, but everyone I know has Shaw High-Speed Extreme - the only negative feedback I've heard with Vonage & Shaw has been with High-Speed & High-Speed Lite ... High-Speed Extreme is only about $5 more per months & your Vonage savings over a TELUS line will save much more than that. |
