Post subject: Message Waiting Light
I recently needed to switch to
Vonage
after many years with ATT's CallVantage service which is being discontinued. I have a Panasonic KX-TGA101S cordless phone system throughout the house.
When being left a VM (at the service not the phone's internal machine which is shut off) a message waiting indicator light has always flashed. When I got
Vonage
I tested this as well with the virtual number I was given, and it worked. Today my number was officially transferred to
Vonage
and I am finding that the message indicator light is no longer working. The TA correctly shows a message is waiting and there is a stutter dial tone on the line. I've checked the phone settings and it still has the message indicator light as "on".
Again I've been using this for many years without an issue and it appeared to also work with the virtual number. Not sure why this would change with the transfer unless it is a simple coincidence. Is there anything I can check at
Vonage
that could impact this? The message waiting light is incredibly handy and I'd love to have it back.

Try rebooting your ATA.
