Post subject: Softphone and dial-up
When I activated my
Vonage
Softphone I had to answer the question....DSL/Cable or Dial-Up. Since I usually around my broadband connection I answered the question that way. But what about when I'm away from a broadband network and I want to dial-up? Is the
Vonage
Softphone not going to work (it hasn't yet)? Can it work if I change the original setting?
Anyone?

SoftPhone X-PRO includes two different call modes for use during calls: Dialup and Broadband. These call modes for

SoftPhone X-PRO are G.711u for broadband and G.729 for dial-up as shown by the indicators at the bottom right of the call display. By default both call modes are enabled as shown by the black indicators. To disable
each call mode individually, click on the indicator and it will become grayed out. To enable the call mode again, simply click on its indicator once more.

Thanks John. What I needed to do for some reason is quit X-Pro and restart. Everytime I tried a call I'd get the 404 - not found thing.
