Post subject: Financial Stability of Vonage - Should I Pre-Pay?
Hello,
I have had
Vonage
for years and am happy with the service. Now I am looking to cut expenses and it seems the only way is to pre-pay. Given the economy and their penny-stock status, I wonder if that would be a wise move.
Thanks.

I would... I don't think
Vonage
is going away any time soon. The thing I would care about the most if
Vonage
did ever go under is porting my telephone number out and to another carrier as quickly as possible so I didn't loose my home phone number of years...

Search for "fanninja" posts. The flavor there has been that Vonage's demise is imminent for years.
Seriously, there is a part of me that is surprised that
Vonage
is still in business, and they aren't out of the woods yet.
Since it's your money, you need to do what you feel most comfortable with. But I don't think my pre-pay is in jeopardy.
