I purchased the pap2 this evening and set up my account. I have everything hooked up as should be but it has been about an hour now and I still have no solid blue light where my phone is plugged in. After reading through some posts I am lead to believe that I should have a dial tone almost immediately.

I just want this to work so I can try it out. Any ideas?

Side note it just took my 25min to get to a "tech" via 866.243.4357

Took about 20 mins for my LinkSys RT31P2 to get activated. Also took about 4 hours for them to put my MAC address in the system before it was activated the other day.

Well after talking to tech support for an hour, inbound calls still worked fine and maybe 3% of outbound calls would through. After giving it a rest, I called back around 11, was only on hold for a short time, was finally able to get the problem solved. After checking a few things on their end, switching my phone settings to phone 2 port everything worked perfect. We then switched it all back to the phone 1 port and everything worked.

Currently a happy Vonage member (815 area code) Also noted that I have no clicking/noise on my line or on the other parties line when talking. I searched for the pap2 at best buy with the latest serial number.
