Is there a way to have two separate accounts on one vonage adapter since it has two phone outputs?

My initial thought is no, because when your ATA fires up it pulls down the account information and loads up your line on that device. I don't work for Vonage though so I couldn't be sure. An e-mail to support on www.vonage.com may be your best bet.

I do not work for Vonage, but in general it seems the ATA registration system ties 1 MAC to 1 account. If a MAC is currently registered with another account it will not let you add it to a new one - that's a common problem for folks buying used ATAs on ebay. There is just one MAC per ATA. So it would seem that unless an exception can be made by a Customer Support Rep, the answer to your question would be no.

Activating lines is a separate activity from registering an ATA with your account (you can have an unlimited number of ATAs on your account even if you have only 1 active line).

The answer is no because each account must have an Active telephone adapter and telephone number on it and the same MAC address or telephone number cannot be Active on more then one account at the same time.
