Post subject: makeing payments with a mastercard per paid creditcard
I would like to know why
Vonage
takes 1 dollar from my account . i've been dealing with this issue for 3 years and
Vonage
refuses to fix the problem . this is the issue .. card balance 0. just say the bill is 50 dollars .i go to the bank and put $50.00. i come home and make a payment online. ERROR . not enuf money in account. ok , so i go to the bank and get the balance of my per payed credit card and the balance is $49.00. so i call
Vonage
, when i tell them whats happening they give me the run around and tell me i must be wrong .they even credit'd my account to get there money . at one time i spoke to someone that agreed and said it is a issue they will most likely never be fixed as
Vonage
is trying to get there dollar that
Vonage
was to pay mastercard for access. this deal is with
Vonage
and mastercard not with vonages clients period.. so instead of straight out stealing just makeup some charge and we would not have this issue. so this month my bill is $85.84 and if i do not want to spend 4 hours on the phone with
Vonage
and argue i better add this $1.00 to my payment .
Lets just say 5 million people pay with a per payed card .
That is 5 million dollars every month that
Vonage
makes/takes.....from ME/YOU..

I haven't a clue what you are talking about. My bill is always the same with
Vonage
and the same amount comes off my credit card.

It sounds like they are doing an "authorization" which is a "charge" for $1.00. That $1.00 drops off after 3 days but that causes the charge not to go through because there is only $49 dollars left.

Can you just put a extra 5 on it and let it stay on the pre-paid card indefinitely so you always have a cushion?
