Anyone else having a problem with changing call forwarding today? I've made changes to 3 different phone lines and none of those changes are taking effect. I disabled ALL call forwarding and saved those changes. I un-did the changes and saved, then changed back to what I want and re-saved. No good-- calls are still being forwarded.
So I power cycled both phone adapters, hoping to pull brand new configs from the servers-- and again, no joy. Calls are still being forwarded even though call forwarding on all lines has been disabled.
Anyone else experiencing the same joy? |

No problems here. Are your lines currently registering or offline? If offline, do you have Network Availability configured in addition to call forwarding. Common mistake is when Network Availability is enabled, device is offline, desired setting is to go to Voicemail so call forwarding is disabled but calls are still being forwarded because user is unaware of Network Availability is set up.
Also, the profile that is downloaded for calling features such as VM, CF, Simul-Ring, Net Avail is not on the device. It is on the proxies which gets configured through a database interacting with your web account. So rebooting your device will not make any difference for these types of setting changes. |

The call forwarding changes took effect shortly after I posted, and I was just getting ready to update the post when your reply came in.
I didn't think the forwarding config was stored in the TA, but I figured it couldn't hurt-- and perhaps pulling the config from a cold boot might trigger something at Vonage's end.
I've been a customer for about 5 years, and changes to call forwarding have always taken effect nearly instantly. This time it took 5-10 minutes. (and to answer your question, all lines were online and functioning normally, not rolling to a network availability number) |
