I have the following setup:
Verizon FIOS 20 down , 10up -> Actiontec MI424-WR Rev D -> VDV21-VD -> Desktop PC.
When the desktop is connected to the Vonage adapter, i can browse the internet while on the phone.
When the desktop is connected directly to the actiontec, I lose the ability to browse when on the phone. The router has wireless, but I am not using it.
I was also unable to use the Voip test, it says license expired. |

It seems to be issue with ur actiontec router where the router is not having the abilty to connect more that one device, sometimes firewall on the router may cause the problem, so try to minimise the firewall |

I got it working, here's basically what I did...
Static IP for the phone adapter and then setup the proper port forwarding for it on the actiontec router. I then logged into Vonage and set the bandwidth saver option to 'Normal'.
I can now browse while on a phone call and the call quality is fine, can't even tell there was a change. So all is good in the universe again. |
