Ring Tones

I have my toll free number and my regular phone but what would really be nice would be a way to tell which number is ringing. I use the toll free for business and never know who is calling (other than caller ID) Why can't there be multiple ring tones so I can tell which line is ringing.

Many phones allow you to customize the ring based on called ID. However, the phone itself doesn't have any way of determining whether the 800 or regular number was called.

Well then how about an adapter for the VT1005V that would allow 2 phones and be able to split the lines so one number would ring on one phone and the other on the other phone. That doesn't seem too much to hope for.

I forgot to mention that I do have a fax line on the VT1005V too. An edit function for posts would be nice also.
