I've been a Vonage user for approx. 6 years. First, I had the Motorola device and then I switched to the Vtech all in one device with cordless phones. I also had the Starcom Wi Fi phone at one point.
Well....the Vtech phone just died, is this common? It just won't power up any longer and the message light just stays solid (if anything.)
I am wondering if there are any other options other than getting a new Vonage router and regular phone. Seems Vonage is no longer making any phones with the routers built in them.
Is using Vonage Companion solely a viable option? Is anyone using any other handsets that do not require a router?
Thanks in advance. |

If the message light goes on and the power doesn't, likely the power supply is not providing enough juice to the base station. If you call into support they'll send a new power supply out to you. |

press the page button even if power on the vtech does not comeout. if the handset responds, the problem is the power adapter.
if handset does not respond, the main base maybe defective after all.
whether you'll get a free replacement or not depends on the warranty of your device.
if your device is out of warranty, be willing to pay. for something so important, be willing to invest. |
