Need some help before I buy. I was wondering what the effect is on bandwidth when you are not talking on the phone are you still using up bandwidth. Is it like set aside all the times so its there if you recieve a call?

I am trying to find out how much bandwidth the phone uses at idle or when it is not being used.

The phone service does not consume bandwidth during idle times, with the exception of periodic keep-alive pings which are, of course, insignificant.
