I've purchased a total of 7 Vonage lines since 2004 and on every one I was able to get the activation fee waived. My most recent was added in January 2009, again with the activation fee waived.

I went in this evening to start the process to port my AT&T CV line to Vonage, but can't find any secret handshake or promo code to waive the activation-- and I'm not interested in paying $30 setup, especially when it's a fairly automated process (translation: little to no human labor).

Anyone know of a current Vonage add-a-line promotion with the activation fee waived?
