Hi,
I am looking to use a vintage phone together with Voip. After having had a look at some of the other forums, it appears as though the VT2442 supports pulse dialing.
However, I understand that the VT2442 is a broadband router in its own right and not only an ATA. Since I am using Vodafone mobile to connect to the internet (USB), I wonder whether the VT2442 would be "happy" to operate only as a Voip adapter and not interfere with Vodafone?
Thanks in advance! |

The VT2442 is a router, but is perfectly capable of operating behind another router. But be aware that it doesn't connect to USB; it requires an ethernet connection to your modem, router, or other source of Internet connectivity. |
