Post subject: Installing single Vonage at three different places
I have an existing
Vonage
line.
I want to know if i can install single line at three different places using internet. i dont want to add lines.
I can use some PBX system so that when some one wants to reach a particular person can easily reach using the extension.
I understand it is possible to have three phones connected to 1 single
Vonage
line with in a given office space.
but i want to install at absoulutely different location.
looking forward for your valuable reply

Post subject: 1 line in 3 locations
One line can not be at three locations the way that you are asking. Once a call is recieved on a voice adapter port you can transfer it to another ACTIVE port on another device (i.e. another line) by transfering the call but you cannot move that line from one port to another port with a call on it.
What you are proposing would take a line in each location. You could then answer a call at any of the locations (using call hunt or Blast Me) and then transfer it to another line using call transfer.
The only way to have one line appear in multiple locations to use like you want is to have either a switch or hybrid phone system and then pay for telco lines between locations.
I hope this helps.
Dan
