Post subject: VMrover does not seem to work anymore
Anyone use the software called vmrover to access your voicemail from
Vonage
? It 'was' a neat little program that was like an answering machine on your desktop. Save you the trouble of logging in to listen to your voicemails. Both myself and a friends version stopped working recently. Anyone use this program? Does anyone else's still work?
Know of any other programs like this out there?
Thanks.

Can you explain how this application works? I downloaded it and do not see how this could have ever worked so I am trying to figure out exactly how you used to access your
Vonage
VM with this.

OK I see how it works and don't know the exact problem since I don't have source code for the VM Rover itself to see exactly what it is looking at. If you paid for Blue Digits, you will need to contact their support and tell them that
Vonage
made a change in the web account and the VM Rover developers would need to adjust the code to correctly parse out the
Vonage
VM messages.
So it looks like until Blue Digits fixes corrects the code in VM Rover and puts out a new release, it will no longer work.

Thanks for looking at it. Just making sure it's not the two of us. Yes, we both paid for it and yes we've both contacted support a few times over a month ago with no response. Sad. It was good little program. It was only $10 bucks and that was months ago so we'll just chalk it up to 'oh well'. Maybe they'll fix. Maybe someone else should come out with a little program like this.
Vonage
should publish some little program like this.
Thanks for the input.

YES
Vonage
should publish a voice mail retriever client to run on your PC !! (or add to VonageTalk or publish a voicemail API ...)
