Hello

I've just moved the linksys router and TopCom usb Voip from the boss room, to mine, and the problem is, that when I go info VOICE bookmark I get:

Also;I have no signal in my Voip telefone.


Our boss bought in vanage, router with Voip support: Linksys RT31P2 and the Voip telephone: TOPCOM butler 4812 USB Voip.

Our network works on 192.168.0.* subnet, but the linksys router support only 192.168.15.* lans, so I need to connect it to my laptop and put up new ethernet interfase (192.168.15.100) to get into the router properities. Anyway, my boss said that should be plug'n'play, but I've got some problems from 2 days with property connect and get the signal to the world.

So please cue in me, howcan I setup it?

I connect to the wan port cable from my main router whitch give the internet (the internet light is lighting so I think that's okey, i also try to get internet from the dhcp to laptop on this router, so internet connection looks good), Next, I connect line from the Voip telephone to my router, and the linke is lighting too, Finally I connect to the ethernet port cable to my laptop to log-in to the router. But on my Voip phone is still status "Not Connected". I try to disconnect all devices and reconnect after 120-600seconds), but it doesn;t help.

Please give me particular instructions how can I get my Voip telephone workin in Poland. Maby I need to enter the login/password somewhere, but I saw that's only avaiable on the internet connection,

Please help, and sorry for my weak english.

Maby I need to do restore to default's on the router, but is it safely?
Maby I need to do somethink with my phone, but I suppose that first I need to get some status in the Voice bookmark in router properities.

The Voip phone has nothing to do with Vonage and will not work with Vonage since it gets it own provisioning elsewhere.. The RT31P2 shows the phone number is online which means it is registering with the Vonage servers. In order for you to have phone service, you need to connect a standard analog telephone into Phone 1 on the back of the RT31P2.

Yeah your hint give me the solution for my problem Wink

I connect the other telephone to my linksys. After that I head signal, and on the display I saw any errors, I make an example call and it's working, so mean that router/voip work correctly, and there is a problem - witch the phone. Next I try to connect my phone, but there still was a message "Not connected". Anyway I tryied to make a phone, and it's working! So I think, that this message inform me about the usb-cable is connected or sth. Anyway it's working now.
