I am so ridiculously frustrated with this fax line... I run a trucking brokerage out of my home, and fax about 30 to 100 pages a day (not at the same time) I have a 100% failure rate on anything over 1 page. I get the faxes out, but I have to read the error page to see how many pages were sent, take those out of the stack, and resend the rest.
as you can see, it took 16 min to fax 5 pages, with 6 re-tries. I always get a communication error. I am using an officejet pro L7680.
I have a dedicated fax line ($9.99/mo) I have ECC off I have baud rate set to 9600 I have QoS of 94% I have 5MB/s cable The phone line runs directly from fax to modem (4ft) I have a 2 wire phone line I have swapped out phone lines, no success
I cannot run a business this way. I depend on Vonage to give me a working phone line, and now a fax line. The phone line is great, love it, brag about it, have NO problems with it. But their fax line ****. I was originally faxing from the voice line and had the same issues, as well as it being difficult to know when a fax was coming, and when a phone call was coming. I got the dedicated fax line to solve those problems....
This is BS. I have read and re-read these forums, and seen that people have nothing but problems faxing with Vonage. If i have to go elsewhere to get my fax to work reliably. I will go else where to get my voice service as well. Vonage.. I like you, but you need to fix this crap
