The work arund is use VPN (assuming your Service Provider is not blocking that too.)
Some of the softphone services port hop, that is use other ports than 5060 and are somewhat variable.
See this link for VPN information:

I suggest you to get a reliable Voip pbx system phone service which has been proven by many users. You could also check your Voip handsets, maybe there are some defects or connection problems with your service provider. You may also contact your service provider customer support. PBX101 |

Before subscribing into a Voip pbx service, you have to make an evaluation first about the features it brings. Some features may be needed by your business and some may not. You have to also make sure that it delivers excellent communication. |

What make/model of Voip adapter are you using for the phones?
You can put the Voip adapter in front of the router and connect the router to the Voip box. If you put the router in the DMZ of the Voip box, it should function as before as far as forwarded ports. This will also eliminate any issue with the Voip and forwarded ports.
You can find Voip technical support services in the Philippines. Just google it

You should better get a VPN account. googletalk uses encrypted tunnel due to which it is working. VPN account will be charged. or you may also try some providers who provides vpn free with their accounts.
One of them is Nomado Telecom. I believe you wont be able to open their site in Oman. So better contact them first for VPN setup then open and sign up. Chat with them here. |
