My wife continues to complain about echo which is now getting worse; 15-25% of the time. She says many times it will start some time after the call has connected. Happens on local and LD, incoming and outgoing.
I have moved the Vonage device away from the cable modem and insured all connections are good, replaced the phone cord, etc.
Phone volumes are turned down.
Any thoughts before calling customer service?
My speed test is:

Which side hears the echo? The Vonage side or the remote side? |

Well problems are continuing to persist. Yesterday during a call the callers voice was somewhat "electronic", and raspy, kind of like a torn speaker, then today my son called and could not here the voice mail greeting, but a message was left while he was still waiting to hear the greeting, (there were voices in the background talking when I checked voice mail).
Vonage support, level one, did not put me through the usual stuff, like re-set modem, etc. since I mentioned what steps I had already done (perhaps they are learning people get annoyed doing the same things again that they just did.)
The one step I neglected was changing phone ports, so that is where I am at right now. We will see, though I suspect it is Vonage's partner in my area, especially after the voice mail incident today.
My speed test continues to be good:
Speed test statistics --------------------- Download speed: 5413000 bps Upload speed: 546632 bps Quality of service: 96 % Download test type: socket Upload test type: socket Maximum download pause: 55 ms Average download pause: 4 ms Minimum round trip time to server: 46 ms Average round trip time to server: 48 ms
