*99 and 33.6 worked for me. I have Comcast cable with the Linksys router plugged into a Belkin 54g wireless router. Good luck to everyone else. |

Vonage sent me a new adapter/router today because my old one was malfunctioning. It is an RTP300 and *99 doesn't work with it. It causes a kind of busy signal on the line. I turned *99 off and now I can connect. |

I'm in the process of getting Vonage. Of course I know you can't say "Yup, works no problem"... I have an older ReplyTV (actually by them) model RTV-3060 which only supports analog modem connections.
I will be getting the latest box from Vonage, a Linksys RTP300 Router with QOS. My cable provider is Comcast, and I'm in Carlisle, MA. My network performance is very good, and consistently seems very close to the rated numbers of 4Mbps/384Kbps.
Any SWAGs if my ReplayTV might work?
Thanks |

I have a ReplayTV 2020, and cannot connect using Vonage. I tried to contact ReplayTV themselves, but they now seem to be giving a blanket "ReplayTV doesn't support Voice over IP - go away" answer - not particularly helpful. I've tried 243 zones to get to the config menu, but I only have "Net connect" - I don't have any way to change the baud rate. Does anyone have any ideas on how to change the baud rate on the 2020? |

I belive you have to go into the setting menu to change the dial number, at the prefix menu, press zones, and it should bring up the wait for dial tone, tone type, and baud rate. This works for the Panasonic showstopper which is basically the same unit.

Well, with that setup running at 28.8 I have had 100% connectivity for the last couple weeks. Guess I can turn on Vonage for real!
My Voip LinkSys300 doen't seem to understand *99 but perhaps it is only active on my primary number. I am in the process of moving my phone over... |

Just more confirmation that *99,*70 seems to work. I had been lucky enough that I didn't have to change anything when I first got Vonage. But then I noticed something strange that you may want to look at. Whenever I had a voicemail waiting the Replay would not connect until I checked the message and stopped the annoying beeping dial tone. For about a month I would be able to clear my mailbox alert and it would work fine. But over the past 2 weeks something changed and I could not connect. Well my channel guide ran out tonight and my wife forced me to fix it so she could record her shows and luckily I've discovered that *99,*70 seems to work with my Panasonic Replay 2000. For those of you who cannot get it to work I truly sympathize. I wish you all the best of luck. Oh yes I doubt this has anything to do with it since I changed this earlier and it did help but I also set my router QoS for 1024. I know my Roadrunner doesn't support this speed but I figured hell I'll try anything to save a buck, hence the Vonage in the first place. |

I am getting Vonage in couple of weeks -- doing little research.
We have Panasonic ReplayTV Showstopper unit for long time and it works great. Also, I have Comast package in Dallas. Texas.
I hope I will not have any problem with it once we set it up. Is there something I should know?
Is anyone from DFW area using have Vonage, Comcast and ReplayTV?

I have and old (OLD) replay from when they first came out...1999 Ithink. I was able to connect using *99,*70 no problems. I have Charter cable and using a wrt54gp2. Also the whole house is wired, not any kind of replay-direct-to-router connection. |
