I have been happy with Vonage for almost 4-5 years now. Never had any problems with installation or using it. I sometimes wonder I was one of the luckiest one to use it flawlessly than some of them here on this forum who had problems with it. But all I will say is keep trying and don't give up to make it work. Just imagine how much I saved on my phone bill in last 4-5 years. It's worth it !!!
Now I want to try if I can use Vonage but only call forwarding to my cell directly without any phone adapter set up done at my home.
I will appreciate if I can get some of the expert advice/suggestions/comments here. |

Yes you can. Just enable 1 of the forwarding features. You can use Call Forwarding, Simul-Ring, or Network Availability. As I said, only enable one of them. Also make sure Vonage Voice Mail is disabled.
When your telephone adapter is offline, any of the 3 forwarding features will do the exact same thing. Just do not use a combination of Simul-Ring and Network Availability as it will result in a problem if they are to the same number and adapter is offline. And make make sure Voice Mail is disabled otherwise calls will terminate to Vonage Voice Mail before you can answer your cell phone if you enable Simul-Ring or Call Forwarding.
If you plan on leaving it offline, my recommendation is Network Availability to your cell phone and nothing else enabled. |

When you log into your web account and click on the Features tab, it is the first feature on the right column right next to Call Forwarding. |
