I've had Vonage for almost a year now and it's not been fun! The sound quality is terrible, dropped calls, ect. I've called several times and spoke to a tech, and they always tell me it's my internet service that's causing the problems. So-o-o I call my internet provider like I was told and they tell me it's Vonage, I'm so frustrated. I guess I'll have to cancel, I just don't want to pay the cancellation fees. Any advice anyone? |

What is your bandwidth and ping tests like during the time you have problems?
working in the tech field myself I have heard all kinds of stories that one place blames the other. If possible, have the tech agent from Vonage do a conference call and they can help support any problems that may be going on with the internet. They can also help with any jargon the ISP tech may throw out there. |

Can you follow the instructions in the stick "What to post...." and let's see where it takes us? Honestly speaking (just reading around the forum you can see this as well), many issues customers face are caused by their own network/setup and not related to Vonage. ISP does play a major role as well but let's start fresh as many members of this forum are very bright and have solved many an issue. |
