Post subject: Vonage service over wireless internet connection?
I spoke with a small company in Indianapolis offering wireless internet service with T-1 speed to small biz and residential service. The tech I spoke with says they install a small antenna outside the building to receive the internet signal from "pipes," instead of from a tower. Something about their system works on the principle of receiving a signal from a path of least resistance. This all sounds very new to me. Will
Vonage
work with this type of connection?
The salesman offered to come to my residence to hook up my
Vonage
connection to see if it works. I may take him up on his offer, if this hook up sounds plausible. Anyone any thoughts?

Yes - This is just a WISP. It should work fine as long as your connection remains stable to originating towers. It is common here out in the sticks...
