Post subject: New Wireless Router
I'm looking to upgrade my home wireless for better access and range. What's the latest and greatest wireless router to replace a wrtp54-g? I have a motorola modem, wireless laptop, and iphone that connect wirelessly and a mac connected via ethernet. I also have my
vonage
phone service connected to the whole house.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

no longer supplies wireless router/
Vonage
device.
If you want a wireless router, you can buy any that suit your needs and hook the
Vonage
device behind it.
I believe that you can disable the wireless on the wrtp-54 so it can still be used as your
Vonage
device, just add the wireless router of your choice.

kdf55 is correct in that I do not believe
vonage
ships them out anymore. they did use to ship out dlink vwrs but those were problematic from the beginning.
get a good wireless router with preferably an aftermark firmware like tomato or dd-wrt and flash it on there.
i use the wrt54g personally but other have had good success with several other brands. do a search and you'll find a bunch.
