Hi im thinking about getting Vonage but i need to know how ill set up it as my Linksys WRT160N is downstairs and 2 floors up is where i need the Vonage phone i have a DSL connection with virgin media. so how could i set it up without it being wired?
Would i have to buy an access point and if i do what one ?
I would say the easiest way is to plug the Vonage adapter downstairs where you have the router. Have a cordless phone system where you can plug the base downstairs and have an extension on the third floor. Or, you can use your existing home wiring with a little more work dependent on what your current situation is with phone service (basically will you only have Vonage or not).
