Post subject: Port forwarding problem w/ Vonage V-Portal->Router setup
Hi,
I've received my
Vonage
V-Portal last week and I've been trying to find solution to the last problem I have with it. I'm hoping someone here can help me.
My setup is the following:
ADSL modem ->
Vonage
V-Portal (192.168.15.1) -> Asus WL-520GU Router running dd-wrt (WAN Static IP 192.168.15.2, LAN IP 192.168.1.1) -> LAN PCs (192.168.1.xx)
I've configured the DMZ on the
Vonage
V-Portal to the router IP (192.168.15.2) so that the router can still do the port forwarding with the rules configured on it as it was doing before. Now, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (and when it works, it just stops working after a while). It seems like rebooting the
Vonage
V-Portal or/and the router or disabling/re-enabling the DMZ setting on the V-Portal somehow makes it come back but I haven't been able I can't say which seems to help (or if it's only luck).
Any ideas?
Thank you!
