I don't know how to configure the PPPOE. And, I called my provider, RCN, and they say they don't have a username/password for me and can't give me one.
Any suggestions? I'd so like to get this wrt54gl setup in front of the v-portal...

They don't have a username/password because you don't have a DSL connection. I believe you have a cable modem - set your router to DHCP
