Almost 6 months without a daily Vonage forum update on the front page (they used to be daily, then every other day, then weekly, then poof... gone!)
Dan claimed to have purchased 5,000 IPO shares at $17, then on several occasioins stated that he was still buying as the price continued to plummet. I wonder how much Dan lost on VG?
Personally, I think VG cut off funding to this site and that's why it's been running on autopilot.
I doubt if VG provided direct funding, other than the paid click through advertising. It used to be, when one clicked through and signed up for Vonage, a fee was paid to the site that ran the ads of around $200 for most, don't know what Dan's deal was.
Probably one of two things happened:
1. Not much revenue is being raised from this site due to lack of click throughs OR Vonage cut the commission (their last earnings call said they were letting a number of the commission or fee arrangements expire.)
2. Dan is doing quite well, moved on to other things or is sipping Maii Tais in some warm climate (if so good for Dan, wish it were me )

I sent him a PM last year about being a moderator for the Canada site, said he would add me, never did happen. I sent him an other one last week and I haven't received an answer. Someone must be looking after this site because the spam does get removed.
