I am currently using a Belkin router in conjunction with my wireless ISP. I installed the Vonage adapter about a month ago, and it's been working great. 2 days ago, I requested a second line. Since the second line was activated, I have to reboot my router several times a day. Something keeps dropping my connection. The only things that have changed are the second Vonage line, and a new 2-line Panasonic 5.8 GhZ phone. I have the 2 lines from the Vonage adapter plugged into the 2 jacks in the back of the bas unit. Is it possible that the cordless phone is too close to the router? Thanks |

How does the two line cordless phone connect to the ATA? Is it using two-wire connections or four-wire connections? |

They both look like 2 wire. |

In order to isolate the problem, could you attach your old phone to only one phone input on your Vonage device and see if the problem persists. If not, then hook only one line to your new phone and see if there is a problem. I would also move the phone away from the Vonage device. |

What did Vonage tech support say when you called about your problem?
Probably the reason why there was so many views and no answers is that most people don't use a wireless internet connection and have 2 phone lines. |

Leave it to me to be unique Actually, I haven't had a chance to call Tech Support. I work from home, so it's easier for me to ask here, where I can check periodically, than be on the phone for an extended period.
I moved the phone away from the Vonage adapter. We'll see if that helps. |

Now I see why you have Vonage, those dogs must cost you a fortune in food! My wife is from Newfoundland, thought maybe you were also a newfie. |
