I'm wanting to setup port forwarding on my VDV21-VD according to the instructions shown at the URL below.
I cannot seem to get an http connection to the device. It seems to be working properly in all other respects but I get nothing when I point my browser to 192.168.15.1, even when directly connected to the unit.
Any tips?
Thanks,
Douglas

try resetting the device....using the little reset pin on the rear....if that doesn't work unplug it a few minutes.

Click on start, then go to run, then type cmd and click OK. Then go to the PC-DOS window and type ipconfig.
What IP address does your PC have?
What is the default GW IP address?
Your PC must be connected to the LAN port on the V-Portal so that is is on the same LAN.
If your using a PC that is connected to another router that the V-Portal connects to, you wont be able to access it this way.
So make sure your PC has an IP of 192.168.15.x before going any further. |

Possibly a browser security option that is enabled. |

I just tried Chrome with a VT2442. That doesn't work either. |

Can Chrome log into any router's web interface? Meaning non Vonage branded routers such as Linksys, D-Link, Netgear, SMC, TrendNet, etc... This would be good to know for future posters with this issue. |
