Updating the post below. Just got off the phone with Vonage. They know voicemail is acting up for many of their customers and are working on it (with no ETA) right now.

Weirdness with Vonage today out here in Indiana.

Email notifications aren't working.

Voicemail indicator on the phone won't stop blinking even though I've deleted messages. When I try to access voicemail settings online I only get "We are currently upgrading our system to provide you better service." and Vonage's contact info.

Also if I scroll back through deleted messages on my vmail, several of them say they are from my employer cause I hear our secretariy's voice say my employer name like a greeting, but then the message is from someone else not affiliated with my employer! Very strange. My employer does have Vonage, but it seems like our vmail today is whacked.

Any ideas? Tried resetting our modem and Vonage box. No luck. Tried logging in online but again can't access that page.

There is a Voicemail issue at the current time and it will affect both web and phone VM features depending upon which VM server your phone number is on. This is why it will not affect all users.

There is nothing you can do from your end to change or fix anything you are experiencing. There is also no need to call tech support since they cannot resolve backend systemic issues for you. The engineers who work on the web side of these things and VM team are aware and working on it. They will be the only ones who can resolve it.

Has this been fixed? Three days ago I received a call that I chose not to answer and noticed that it kept ringing about 15 times where as my voicemail is set to pick up at 30 seconds(usually 5 rings). I assumed after I read this that I was one of the numbers affected by the voicemail problems since it never picked up the aforementioned call. I haven't received a voicemail or let the phone ring long enough for it to pick up since.

Yes. It was fixed within about 1 hour of my posting and there aren't any systemic issues so your current problem is isolated to your mailbox if there is a problem.

Hmmmmm. I'm positive this call was on the 31st although it doesn't show up in my account because it wasn't answered by voicemail. So that is a full day after the problem was pointed out and fixed. Guess I'll have to have someone call me to check. Thanks.

There is nothing wrong with Voicemail. If you have a problem, it with your mailbox or account. You would have to contact Vonage and have your issue escalated.

What is the exact problem you are experiencing?
