I'm trying to figure out the whole rate center thing. There are 6 rate centers in Detroit, Zones 1 - 6. Vonage seems to only have POPs in 5 of the 6 rate centers, although Packet8, AT&T, Broadvoice, etc do have POPs in all 6 rate centers. How is this possible. Whey would Vonage "support" only 5/6 of an area code? I'd really like to switch to Vonage, but it's more important to keep my number.
