No Incoming Call Service - It's Been a Week

Post subject: No Incoming Call Service - It's Been a Week
I have been unable to receive incoming calls from land line phone numbers for nearly a week. Numerous calls to technical support have yielded nothing except a huge headache. The most recent explanation was that the fiber optic cables
Vonage
uses were physically damaged. That was after my third call to technical support. I then had service for one day.
It's now out again. It appears
Vonage
is either unable or unwilling to resolve these issues while they happily charge me fees for services NOT rendered.
What other options do I have besides canceling service?

There are no service announcements about a network problem at
Vonage
. . .
It could be the
Vonage
partner who has the switch where your calls terminate is having problems, or their internet service provider (Sprint, etc) has the broken fibre connectiion, but a week is a long time, especially when one considers these companies also handle other Non-Vonage phone switching.
This would be analogous to a POTS telephone line to a neighborhood being down from a fallen tree limb or a pole taken out by a wreck. However, a week is still a long time!
