I am trying to connect my Netgear wnr2000 to my comcast cable modem and my Vonage router. So far, the cable modem and Vonage are working fine. When I try to get the netgear connected, I'm having a problem. Netgear's instructions only include hooking up to a cable modem... not Vonage. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to do this? I'd sure appreciate any help! |

Which Vonage box are you using? Normally, the Vonage units are set up to act as a DHCP server for their subs, and most routers, like the Netgear, are set up for automatic addressing. If that's the situation, the setup is as simple as running a cord from the internet side of the Netgear to a LAN port on the Vonage.
Apparently it isn't simple for you, so we need to know more about the setup. How is internet addressing set on the Vonage? What are the settings on the Netgear? What have you tried so far? |

Thanks, Sam |
