Post subject: Caller ID question
I am not a tech-savvy nor mechanically-inclined person. For that reason, I got the
Vonage
'Whole House Solution' so that I don't have to rewire my phone system (which I couldn't do). I use the phone extenders, plugged into wall outlets, to forward the phone signals -- which works fine. The only problem is that the Call ID function does not seem to work on the phones plugged into the extenders (it does work on my V-portal adapter and the base phone).
Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Post subject: Make sure the wireless extenders support caller ID funtion
I had the same problem with my Satellite Caller ID, found out the model I had did not support that feature. I have just ordered one from Phonex Model 411 that does work. A have also heard of an RCA model that also works, but check the packaging to make sure because I have one in my closet that is not compatible.

Thanks for the info... I guess my question is for a
Vonage
Tech guy... Is the
Vonage
Model VTA-PVR system compatible with the Caller ID feature? And if so, what do I have to do to make it work?
