I have my PC set up where the Vonage Talk works with the USB HEadset/microphone. Sounds great.
I then using a CRM software go to call a client and the phones dials & connects.
I can hear the person I am calling, they cannot hear me. The microphone/voice is not being sent through. After a random number of seconds (20 to 40), the phone will disconnect or I will hear some sort of fax/computer tone being sent. |

Never had this kind of problem with Vonage Talk.
Be sure the preferences are set right in Vonage Talk, Tools, Preferences, Audio, Input Device.
Otherwise, sounds like a conflict with your audio devices or the CRM software. The Fax tone sounds like the CRM software is trying to use your modem, which probably serves as a phone device (TAPI).
Can you use vonage talk using the vonage talk software with the crm software not runing, after a computer re-boot? |

To clarify. Vontage Talk is to be taken out of the loop. Vontage Talk works perfectly, but Vontage Talk uses an eithernet connection.
The CRM software is designed to use a dialup modem and I need to work around the ethernew connection and use the dialup. |

Sounds like you have a misconfiguration with your CRM/dialipup application and/or your headset. I don't see where this is relevent to Vonage. |

If you are trying to use Vonage talk with a dial-up, will not work.
So, your CRM software and VT will not play together.
However, you could use your regular Vonage line. |
