oddly enough, even though the order's complete, and I do have a tracking number, the tracking number doesn't work on UPS' website...not quite sure what the "status" steps are, but maybe there's something after complete. Must...be...patient (it's so difficult!).

there's a delay with getting a tracking number and the number being entered into the ups system (or at least propagating throughout it). I get this all the time, whether it's Vonage, amazon or whoever shipping.

yeah...you've said that already. you also said you were ok with it. but since you're not, call them and tell them you will not pay for a service you don't have yet.

What I meant was its a hard pill to swallow. I called them when I saw that I got charged and they told me "that's the way the do it." I don't have a choice to but to be ok with it.

I think they should prorate the service OR start the month on the day the service is active. Just my .02

I was just thinkin about that the other day too...but I guess they could always say, that I've gotten my money's worth when I called my # the other day to see if it was active, and to show my mom that I could listen to my voicemail online. =)

That's my take too. I guess in the long run we'll benefit.

As a side note, I just called Vonage and they said that the status on the website doesn't always reflect the actual order status and that most likely my adapter is on its way. The thing I found odd was that he couldn't actually confirm that it was on its way....

I'll be more patient!

I just noticed that they put new info up about my order. I'm apparently getting the Linksys adapter, which is what I was hoping for, since I already have a Linksys wireless router..very cool indeed. Hopefully just a few days..
