pvvoip, comcast has first dibs (first rights) to certain ports, lets say you are using your Vonage line and someone is using the Internet, comcast can knock Vonage off. Not everyone has this problem since it is illegal and the fcc is cracking down. You coulld have the problem of being able to use your Vonage line but can't surf the net. If it is not a dns issue or static ip issue, I open ports in the Vonage device, something you cant do from home. If this happens simply give Vonage a call and someone in tech support will help you. verizon didn't explain, and I guess Vonage sales didn't explain dry loop. But it is a good thing you won't be paying verizon anymore! |

Verizon should have explained it. I knew that the price would go up, but I was unaware of the increase to $52.99!!
Thanks for the replies. |
