Airjunky, Thanks for posting. If you check out: http://comcast.m0.net/m/p/com/div/QuestionsFAQs.html You'll also see they add a $5.50 subscriber line charge PLUS undefined Regulatory Recovery Fee. In addition, if you check out their feature set, it is less than Vonage. My question is, once they start offering their own digital voice product (now being tested in I think 3 markets) what's to stop them from not allowing (or hindering) other product use (ie Vonage)? I guess, however, the one benefit to Digital Voice is, it does not utilized your HOME broadband bandwidth and high QoS. However, my opinion is I have a lot of bandwidth I'm paying for that is going unused so I'd rather make use of what my I'm paying for! |

Yep, I have to agree. The prices are definitely higher than the other Voip companies charge now. And it sounds like Comcast might be already working towards making their digital voice service the only one that works on their broadband. |
