I got a email with my virtual number the day we setup our account. It worked and I setup my voicemail. However ever since the second day if you call it I get "the line is being checked for trouble". I have called and sent emails to tech support but have not heard anything back. What gives?

Still Nothing, no call for support, no email, and no posts on this forum. Its not looking good. Last night I hear the static everyone is talking about on my buddies line. In this day and age you need to provide good support and get back with people. If they know they have a problem with the static they should be proactive and post something about it, that they are working on it and provide a ETA. When no one aknowedges it, you just end up looking like a ass and it seems you don't care. What a bad way to start a relationship with your customers. |

1) What is your upstream bandwidth? Check http://www.vonage-forum.com/voip-speed-test/ for that information.
2) Did you enable Voice QoS on the phone adapter? If so, what did you put as your QoS Upstream Rate?

This has nothing to do with upstream or QOS. The static is on the telephone even when the Linksys unit isnt plugged into the broadband connection. I have called Linksys and they said they know about it and are working to get a firmware update to resolve this issue. Its refreshing that they at least acknowledge it. |
