I currently am using MagicJack. If I switch to Vonage, Vonage says they cannot transfer my phone number. Since MJ is so cheap, I'm thinking of keeping it in order to keep the phone number and adding Vonage for better audio quality. MJ quality is mostly bad and sometimes horrible.
So, I wonder if it is possible to run both systems on the same PC. Thanks for any insight. |

Vonage works best when you use a Vonage-supplied ATA. It doesn't run on a PC (unless you use their Vonage Companion software). If you have sufficient bandwidth, you should be able to use MagicJack on your PC while using a Vonage ATA. Check your Internet bandwidth and other variables using the Voip test page. |
