Post subject: Way to change the VWR ?
As a lot of Dlink VWR user, I have some issues with my router. Always the same symptoms :
- impossible to configure unless using IE on a windows computer. Unfortunately, I'm a mac user...
- router resets its configuration when it reboots.
I'm just fed up with that, because half of the time my wireless network is unsecured and I can't configure it. I emailed
Vonage
to explain the situation. I just want them to send me some other device that would work properly. The only answer I got was to save the router's config and then to import it after a "config loss". Nice. And they even precise that the router will reboot at the end, so it will *again* reset.
I was even thinking of disabling the wifi and use a second router for the wireless, but each time the VWR reboots, it will enable the default wifi network, unsecured and open to everyone....
Is there a way to have this device changed to another one (and not another VWR) ? Or should I just cancel my service ? Did someone success in getting another device ?
