7. Outgoing audio is lost (I can hear the other caller the entire time, but they cannot hear me). Happens approximately 50% of the calls, at random times. Sometimes right away, sometimes 10 minutes before it happens.

your score shows no reason for this to happen. I've head from VonTechMgr that some of the SB5120 modems are not good. maybe he'll pipe in.

It could be the modem if this were occurring from day one as a Vonage customer. If you have been an existing customer without issue and this just creeeped up on you, I would say it is not an issue with the modem.

When did issue start?

Does it happen on all calls or just inbound or outbound?

Does it happen during any specific time of the day or is it random?

Is there any internet usage happening(that you know of) during the time you lose audio?

Hello,

This is my father-in-laws house, so some of this is 2nd hand info. Also, I've noticed that often on the computer, for a period of seconds, web pages will not load (it will show a server timeout, but a quick refresh usually brings it up). A modem problem makes some sense to me.

This has been occurring since day 1 with Vonage.

It happens with all calls, but it seems that only the outgoing audio is affected.

No specific time, very random.

Happens when the only computer on the network is off (wireless secured with WPA2)

If you are noticing issues with standard TCP packets(web traffic) where intermittently the page does not load, it could be related. Possible weak signal at modem, bottleneck at modem, local ISP issue. This would require Comcast to check the signal levels at the modem and run other diagnostics. If a problem is found, they will roll a truck to have someone check the coax coming in and then replace the modem if needed.
