Post subject: Resetting Time - Vonage Whole House System DECT 6
Trying to reset the time on the VTA-CVR handsets. Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Call yourself from a cell/different phone....or wait till someone calls you.
The time will then be updated.

Thanks Marc. I did see your post in Spetember about this. On the first attempt it didn't work. When I reset the device and the phone the time did change.....but now it's two hours earlier than the actual time. Before it was 7 hours ahead.

Have you logged into your
Vonage
account and checked your time zone ?
If your account is correct....then you need to call
Vonage
support....they will need to adjust setting on the server's end.
I had kind-of this problem....last spring when daylight saving time changed....I was using an older motorola adapter....tech support tried many different things and then determined the problem was in one of their older servers....they moved my account to a new server and the problem was solved.
I'm now using a v-portal....last night daylight savings time was adjusted with out any problems ( on the v-portal )....I did have to call myself from my cell to get the dect system to correct the time.

The time zone in the web account controls the Voicemail timestamps. If the caller ID timestamp and clock is wrong, then the timezone has to be changed in the VTA's profile which a level 1 tech can do.
