Hi - I got a PAP2 adapter and would like to activate to get my Vonage account. I am speculating between the $15 plan vs $25. In the basic plan, is 500 minutes all i get to speak or is it unlimited local and 500 minutes of long distance. Can someone please clarify this for me. I would change my plan accordingly. Thanks for the insight. |

it's 500 minutes total. some things don't count (voicemail, and I assume tech support, and possibly 800 numbers too). |

Incoming and 800 numbers don't count toward it. I have the 500 minute plan, and last month because of the holidays we went over by $1.00. I don't see a reason to bump it up $10, just because we spent $1.00. On weekends I pick up my cell a little more to place a call, I figure I am paying for it and it has free nights and weekends. I chose Vonage to save money on something we don't use a real lot. Start on the Basic plan and see how you do after a few months, you can always change your plan online, anytime. |

International calls are not part of the 500 minutes, you know. They are billed separately. |
