then are you saying you also want to be able to dial out with your old number as well?
if so then the on hold plan is possible but the per minute charge for outgoing calls will add up. I'm not sure why you want to also be able to call out from it since you already have a Vonage number from which you can already do this? anyway, I am now officially confused as to your reasoning. maybe you can explain this one more time.
If you already have unlimited calling from your Vonage phone # why would you also want to call out from your old POTS number?

My basic reason is that companies have our old number and I don't want them to have the new number. Some calls might be important and we don't want to miss them. I was looking for the cheapest way to have the number on Vonage.
