Post subject: Helpfull Tip About VOIP Tests
As a tech agent, I have found that
Voip
tests like these give you a great tool in troubleshooting issues. I have always used
voipreview.org
. If you click on the link "click here for detailed analysis" on the summary page, it gives you a test number. With this test number, we or your ISP, can pull up your test results.
www.voipreview.org:81/myspeed/db/report?id=XXXXXX
X=your test number
One thing to keep in mind. If you run the test from
www.vonage-forum.com,
we cant pull up the test due to how the frames are set up on the webpage. A test that is ran from
Vonage
Forums can't be pulled up from voipreview.org. If you plan to use this test to allow someone to view it, it is easier to run the test from voipreview.org. That way we can edit the url and put in your test number. One difference is voipreview.org doesn't give you the number of supported
Voip
lines.

Post subject: Put your phone in the DMZ
I was having problems with QOS and adjusting it on the router was just not fixing the
Voip
quality
So I put the phone in the DMZ and all the problems went away.

The in-line frame is not set to a proper size for the results of the test and based on the width of the detailed analysis page, probably could not be set wide enough anyway.
But you can right click inside of the frame, click properties and and copy and paste the the url in the browser address bar. This site gives the detailed analysis at:

Thant's because Comcast wnats your service to be disrupted -- I bet if you had comcast service you would be happy-- Contact the FCC is your only choice. Comcast is driving the bus.

Yes, the forum test appears not to be working. You might want to try the one here:
