Hi. I just ran a Voip test and the results are below.
The reason I ran it is I am getting a very obvious and annoying clicking sound at my end. People on the other end that I call from my Vonage line can hear me perfectly but I get a constant clicking that I hear throughout the calls.

I know that some people had issues with a cordless phone but I use a regular phone that works well and I have tried it with different cords so those are not the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I can't get the speed test to run on my computer. It doesn't do anything when I click on the 'start' button. How do I get it to work?
-----------------------------------------

Never mind. I reinstalled java and it now works. (Don't see how to delete my earlier post.)

I ran the test. Seems the download speed must get throttled somewhere as my Cable Download averages between 13 & 14 Mbps (Yup that's correct, Time Warner offers a 15Mbps down and 1 Mbps up in our area)

My Results
Download 7,900,432 bps
Upload 985,848 bps
QOS 64%
RTT 45 ms
MaxPause 65 m

Just signed up for Vonage, so we'll see how this works out over time.

Very Happy

Good luck with Vonage! I've had it for about a year and I have to say its pretty good. AS long as your Internet provider is solid. My problem is an oversold neighborhood and at peak times its hard to hear the person on the other line Mad . They can hear you just fine but it gets choppy to hear them. This ONLY happens when my Pings are 500ms+. Get used to hearing a 5 second pause while the call is being routed. Also break the habit of dialing 0 for the operator, its no longer available Cry
