Hello,
What I am trying to do, is to daily download my call history from my vonage number so that I can parse the information and log calls and their duration to the corresponding client for billing them everytime I call them for example. My guess is taht vonage does not have a web service that I can call for this, nor and API. I have been trying to write an application that logs into the vonage website and then goes to the activities and tries to download the calls for the given day but I have not been able to pass the logging screen lol. Can anyone help or have any ideas?
Thanks!

It would make it a lot easier Vonage would provide an API to download a csv file of call activity.
Once a month, when the billing cycle starts, I get my previous month call activity to csv using the following non-automated kluge:
1. Log into Vonage
2. Navigate to Billing - Billing History - Invoice - View Call History
3. Select all the call rows and Ctrl-C copy
4. Open Excel
5. Save a few keystrokes here by running a custom Excel macro that executes a Paste and saves the result as a csv file with a fixed folder and file name.
From that point my billing software picks up the csv file and processes it, including removing the extra row imported with each activity row.
That's ok for once a month, I would not want to do it every day though. |

Yes, that would work but unfortunately I need it once a day at least. I am pretty surprised they do not offer a service like that.
Thanks a lot for your input, I appreciate it.

Thank-you for having me think about this again.
After writing the post I realized steps 4 and 5 could be eliminated by changing my billing software to parse the data directly from the Windows clipboard, so I will be making that change. |

You can try this, though it is not exactly automatic:

BTW, anyone know how to start this with a batch file AND pass on the date and file variables? |

Actually that tool won't help me as I am a member of Vonage UK and the tool is only for the US.
Any idea how the parameters are sent while logging in? As long as I can figura that out, I think I can solver the rest of the issue.
